Sweet Mrs. Joyce, I will miss you so much but I am OVERJOYED that you are in the arms of Jesus.

I will miss our talks about the things we saw in the Spirit during worship.I will miss your hug and your beautiful smile.

To her children and grand children, please know how much she loved you and prayed for you. She wants all of her family to gather with her one day in heaven. She often asked me to pray with her over all of you. May God bless you and comfort you as you go through this time of grief.

Mrs. Joyce, now you are with the angels, those beautiful angels that you saw and talked about all the time. I will see you again one day, and oh what a day of rejoicing that will be! Big hugs and love.

Well I don't know where to start .
The news saddened me but then I was happy because I know she is happy in heaven . She talked about it often and studied the word and was ready when it was her time .
What a hoot she was , I enjoyed her sometimes dry witty humor . She could have you doubled over laughing and her never crack a smile then other times that grin would shine like a new penny and you both be rolling in the floor . She always told me about her son playing in the juke joint and often times just for me when I gave her a hug on Sunday morning would hum or whisper a line from one of his songs that was a lil naughty . We would just giggle and she would say , I can't get that one out of my head it was our lil secret . She always gave me a hug and usually a kiss on the cheek when I seen her , especially if I snuck up behind her and would say hey baby . She'd say oh it's Charlie and make some witty crack then give me that hug .
My heart hurts I'm gonna mis her but I know she's where her heart longed to be .

Gonna miss you ole gal , now every time it thunders I know your up there dancing and humming a lil tune or whistling at them fat naked cherubs !

My heart is heavy for us but it rejoices for Sister Joyce. I will miss seeing her smiling face and her knowledge and love for our Father. I have learned so much from her. I pray strength for her family to help them through this transition. I will always love you Sister Joyce.
