Ronald Eugene Purple

Ronald Eugene Purple, age 86, of Tecumseh, passed away May 20, 2015.  Ronald was born December 20, 1928 in Gaylord, Michigan the son of Forest and Pauline (Ervin) Purple. He married  Fern Inez Ramsay who preceded him in death in 2012.   He retired from Tecumseh Products after 37 years of service.  After retirement, he moved to Prescott Valley, AZ , returning to Tecumseh this past year.  Ronald loved his family and was always there for them.  He also  loved  the outdoors, from canoeing on a 500 mile trip along James Bay in Canada to bow hunting elk in the White  Mountains of Arizona.  Ronald is survived by his children, Gary Purple of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Pamela K. Purple of Tecumseh and Patti Ann Purple of Tecumseh; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter and 2 sisters, Wilma and Darlene.  In addition to his wife, Fern, he was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  A Memorial gathering for family and friends will be 1:00 - 6:00 P. M. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home, Newburg Meadows. 9103 N.
