Lewis Webster Slusher

Lewis Webster Slusher, age 76, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 29, 2017.  He was born October 22, 1940, in Hulen, Kentucky, the son of William & Mossie (Ruherford) Slusher. Lewis received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University and his Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Lewis taught at Clinton High School and the Adrian Training School. He had many hobbies, including baseball, Elvis music and old cars.  Lewis is survived by his daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Slusher, his son William Lewis Slusher, one grandson, Vaughn Anthony Slusher, two sisters, Lassie (Jerry) Lewis and Ruby Wilson, two brothers, Arnold (Kathleen) Slusher and David (Carolyn) Slusher and many devoted nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Mossie Slusher and two brothers, William Thomas Ledford and Ronald Lee Slusher.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will take place 11:00 AM Monday, April 3, 2017, in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton, MI.
