Geraldine "Gerry" Bater

Geraldine "Gerry" M. Bater, age 84, of Adrian, MI, passed away peacefully, May 2, 2017, at home. She was born December 10, 1932, in Ann Arbor, MI, the daughter of Gerald & Marie (Dennis) Voice. On November 15, 1950, she married Harry L. Bater, he preceded her in death in 2013. Geraldine loved her dogs and her flowers. In addition to her husband Harry, she was preceded in death by her parents and three children, Sandy Bater, Scott Bater and Steve Bater. She is survived by her children, Shelly (Ed) Duncan, Stuart Bater, Susan (Mike) Malolepszy and Shawn (Janet) Bater, ten grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Greg Burdine officiating.
