Dilla J. Miller 1938 - 2016. Our Beloved mother, Dilla J. Miller, departed this earth on Sunday, October 23, 2016, to join her Heavenly Father and devoted husband of 51 years. She was born in Detroit, MI, on April 19, 1938. Dilla married Daniel G. Miller on July 2, 1960, in East Tawas, MI. Together they raised five children, Kelly (Gary) Boswell, Elizabeth (Robert) Lucas, James Miller, Virginia (Dal) Polson and Ericka (Jeffrey) Sabo. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Leah (Angel) Skwierc and Emily (Jack) Elliot. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles B. Puckett II and her parents. Dilla was a deeply devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She spent much of her spare time enjoying tending to her beautiful yard & garden, traveling, and volunteering. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2016, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Drew Hart officiating. Visitation will be on Friday October 28, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and also on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI.
