Rogena Petty

Rogena  "Gene"  Petty, age 60, of Tecumseh, passed away after a brief illness, on December 17, 2014, at Promedica Toledo Hospital.  He was born October 4, 1954, in Detroit, MI, the son of William & Margaret (Stone) Petty.  On May 6, 1978, he married Cheryl Blohm, she survives.  In addition to his wife Cheryl, he is survived by his children, Joseph P. (Jeannie) Petty and  Kristen M. (Junseok) Park, his siblings, Juannette Fields, William L. Petty, Wendell W. (Cinda) Petty and Marion F. Petty, sister in law, Nancy Blohm and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his grand parents.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM  Monday, December 22, 2014, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Lynn Brooks officiating.  Burial will follow in Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, MI.  Visitation will be on Sunday, December 21, 2014, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the J.
