Norman Lyle Jermeay, lifelong resident of Jackson County, died peacefully at home on September 5th under the watchful care of his children. He was 84. A Korean War Veteran, Norman was born April 14, 1933 to Andrew and Helen Jermeay. A hard-working man, Norman retired from Ryerson Haynes after 26 years and owned Norm & Ray's Antenna and Tree Service with his brother, Raymond Jermeay. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother, Kenneth Jermeay. Surviving are his sister Florence Martin and brother, Raymond (Donna) Jermeay, children - Michael (Kimberly) Jermeay, Steven Jermeay, Lori (Paul) Barnes, Lisa (Brad) Coffey, Dale (Becky) Jermeay, longtime partner Phyllis Lapp and her children Carl, David, Susan and Mike Lapp as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Norman will be buried in a private Military Ceremony at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to Hospice Home Care.
