Michael Ray Lewis, II, age 39, of Adrian, MI, passed away unexpectedly, February 26, 2015. He was born October 8, 1975, in Adrian, MI, the son of Michael Ray Lewis, Sr. and Catherine (Ronders) Lewis. Mike graduated from Adrian High School, Class of 1993. On September 4, 2010, he married Kelly Rodriguez, whom he shared a relationship with for 13 years. Mike loved fishing, hunting and camping on the 4th of July at KOA with his friends and family. His passion was playing softball and he enjoyed snowmobiling and being with friends and passing on his life skills and knowledge to his boys. Mike also loved his four pit bulls and attending all his children's events and teaching them sports. He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly, his two daughters, Makayla Lewis, Ashley McCutchan, his three best friends / sons, Aden Lewis, Avery Lewis and Antonio Lewis, his parents, Michael Ray Sr. (Tammy) Lewis and Catherine Ronders, three brothers, Robert (Jacqueline) Lewis, Jacob McFarland and Joshua (Kelly) Smith, his sister, Natasha (Matt) Wetzel, his grandmother, Jan "Gram" Ronders and four nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leroy & Edith Padgett and Joe Ronders. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Palmyra Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
