Our hearts and prayers go out to the O'Quinn family. Mary was like a second mom to me while growing up with my closest friends Kevin and Ryan. While the news brought me great sadness, it also brought on great memories of my childhood and how wonderful of a person Mary was to me and the entire Westerfield family. Heaven has gained one of the kindest souls to ever walk this earth.

I recently got acquainted with Mary as I helped care for her when she was in the hospital. What a small world it is as we talked and discovered she was also from Clinton and I knew her family. Mary o'quinn was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. As teenagers Shannon and I hung out together and Mary never hesitated to go the xtra mile to run us around to football games, dances, concerts and the list goes on. She has left a sweet spot in many of our hearts and will be greatly missed. As I ordered flowers today for Mary I heard the song overhead in the flower shop, it was Dire Straits sultans of suede I had to smile because I remember Mary playing that in car back then. I will alway be greatful for the way Mary treated me.
