Hugh M. Patterson

Hugh M. Patterson, age 71, of Britton, passed away April 11, 2017. Hugh was born December 31, 1945 in Bay City, Michigan the son of John and Nora (Burke) Patterson.  On July 25, 1992 he married Gwen Swiatkowski and she survives. Hugh loved riding his Harley and enjoyed being a member of Bikers United for the past 45 years . He loved vacationing up North in Michigan and Central Texas. In addition to his wife, Gwen, Hugh is survived by his children, Sheryle (Fred) Knorre and their sons, Garrett and Brett, Paul (Bethany) Patterson and their children, Ryan, Jaden, Sean and Ella; sisters, Ellen O'Sullivan and Marianne (Jean) Kroes; mother in law, Pat Swiatkowski; sister in law, Terri Norton (Rodney Benson); brother in law, Jay (Sarah) Swiatkowski  and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:00 P M. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.  Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Michigan.  Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:00 P. M. Friday, April 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
