Helen Dustin Hall

Helen Dustin Hall, age 96, of Tecumseh, died peacefully September 23, 2015, at Lenawee Medical  Care Facility surrounded by her family.  She was born in Kunkle, Ohio, December 28, 1918 to Cleveland and Lura (Ely) Dustin.   She married Harold C. Hall September 7, 1938 and he preceded her in death in 2000.   Helen graduated from Tecumseh High School and went on to become a licensed Beautician and Librarian.  She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great, Great Grandmother.  Helen's family always came first in her life but she managed to fit in many card games with her friends, extensive travel with Harold and most summers were spent at their cottage at Clear Lake.  Helen is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Ken) Bortel and son, Gary (Beth) Hall; grandchildren, Melinda (Brad) Williams, Jackie (Jeff) Wolf, Chad (Virginia) Hall and Eric (Laura) Hall; great grandchildren, Kim (Derek) Atkinson, Andy Williams, Adam (Kaci) Wolf, Alex (Melissa) Wolf, Kody Wolf, Gary, Emma and Gracie Hall, and Ben, Emma and Rebecca Hall and 8 great great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 P. M. Monday, September 28, 2015 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh followed by the funeral at 1:00 p. m. with Rev. Mark Zender officiating.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Britton or the Lenawee Medical Care Facility.  Condolences to the family can be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
