Gordon "Gordy" "Uncle Bub" Cook

Gordon "Gordy" "Uncle Bub" Cook, age 47, of Blissfield, passed away August 25, 2015.  Gordon was born March 25, 1968 in Tecumseh, MI the son of Paul and Kathryn (Keran) Cook.  He was a 1986 graduate of Britton High School.  Gordy enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, spending time with family,  playing with his nephews, NASCAR and old engine tractor shows.  He was employed by the University of Michigan and Ridgeway Cemetery.  Gordy is survived by his parents, Paul and Kathryn; sisters, Dawn (Greg) Edwards, Donna (Anthony) Williams and Danita (Patrick) Scheick; nephews, Devin and Aidan Scheick and numerous step nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Geraldine Keran and David and Pauline Cook.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday, August 31, 2015 at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Mark Zender and Rev. Rodger Papenhagen officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridgeway Cemetery, Ridgeway, MI.  Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 P. M. Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the J.
