Dear Marie,Cheri,Gary,
Please accept my condolences. I met George a couple of times thru the years. Marie, you brought snickerdoodles to Anderson Funeral home for my husband's funeral in 2011. Cheri and I used to make a lot of snickerdoodles while I lived with my aunt and uncle, Ethelyn and Tip Oliver. My prayers are with you at this sad time. I'm sorry but I had surgery friday and am not going out as yet. Please know that I have fond memories of all of you. You might have known me as Barbie wells.

Although I didn't know George, it sounds like he lived a satisfying life with a positive attitude surrounded by people that loved and respected him. I'm sure his death has been a difficult thing to deal with. When my father died 2 years ago it was terrible but was cushioned by the promises of God found in the Bible. At John 5:28,29 it says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” God PROMISES that we will see our loved ones again at a time when "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore" (Rev 21:4).
