Eva Aguirre

Eva E. Aguirre, 86 of Adrian passed away on Monday, September 25, 2016.  She was born in McAllen Texas on Dec. 24, 1929 to parents Petra and Refugio Estrada. She moved to Petersburg Mi. in 1963 with her husband, George G. Aguirre, who preceeded her in death in 1993.  She is preceeded also in death by her brothers Homer, George and Ralph Estrada from Texas. Surviving family are: daughter, Lolly (Fuentes) Henning and husband David from Tecumseh, Jimmy and Frank Salas, Fidencio (Eric) and Ricardo Aguirre, wife Stacy. 13 grandchildren: Vincent, Michael, Santiago, Gabriel, Jessica, Ricki Jr.. Matthew, Christopher, Timothy, Anthony, Tina Marie, Shauna, Julio and 19 great grandchildren.  Eva was a loving mother/ grandmother to her whole family and enjoyed seeing her family during her life. Cooking and watching old western movies was her joy along with listening to music which she would dance to in her younger days. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her whole family. She collected angels throughout her life and now is with our Lord and real angels for all eternity.   A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at St. Mary of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 305 Division Street, Adrian, MI, with Fr. Tom Murphy presiding.  Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Eva will lie in state at St. Mary's Church on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral mass.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
