We very sorry to hear of Gene's passing. Gene and his family will be remembered in all of our prayers. We served together in the Onsted Legion Honor Guard which he was very proud of.

Edna and I wish to express our sympathies to Gene's family and friends. I worked many years with Gene at the Cable. He was a great man to know and work with.

Uncle Gene was such a sweet and funny man. I always loved to hear him and my dad together, they were like two peas in a pod. I remember once when Uncle Gene told me that between him and my dad, they knew everything. So I asked my dad how high is the sky and he said he didn't know, I asked Uncle Gene and he said "twice half" haha....they always knew how to amuse us kids. Even though I have not seen him for a few years, my love for him is very strong. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you but I am comforted knowing that he is now in a beautiful place and reunited with loved ones. Love you all
