Dorothy J. Kurtz

Dorothy J. Kurtz. age 88, of Adrian, MI, passed away January 28, 2017, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born June 29, 1928, in Monroe, MI, the daughter of Daniel & Margaret (Wolfe) Davis. On September 29, 1956, she married Richard William Kurtz, he preceded her in death on July 8, 1988. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Richard Davis and two sisters, Ruth Stewlow and Rita Trolz,  She is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Carol) Kurtz of Toledo, OH and Scott (Coleen) Kurtz of Milford, MI, five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Caroline, Madison and Maxwell Kurtz, one sister, Anne Schultz.  Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 4, 2017, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Geoff Koglin officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
