Christopher Jack Cadwallader, age 73, of Adrian, Michigan passed away January 11, 2016.  He was born August 10, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of Joseph Sr. and Christina (Spears) Cadwallader.  On August 13, 1974, he married Olivia Garza, she survives.  He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961-1964, serving one tour in South Korea.  He was a member of Strategic Army Corps.  Chris was employed by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, retiring in 1995, with 20 years of service.  He became an ordained minister in 1982, serving as Associate Pastor of New Hope Tabernacle in Adrian, Michigan.  Chris was also an Evangelist, traveling in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and as far south as Alabama. He served as Chaplain for the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department and Adrian Police Department, as well as the Adrian City, Adrian Township, Madison Township and Palmyra Fire Departments.  Chris was a member of the National and Michigan Sheriff’s Associations, Southern Michigan Law Enforcement Association, Disabled Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars, AMVETS, the American Legion and Alpha Harvest Ministers Fellowship. He is survived by his children:  Christina (Dan) McClenathen, Elizabeth (Rob) Tuttle, both of Atlanta, Georgia. Paige Cadwallader, Jerry Navarro, Mark (JoAn) Navarro, and Victoria Sue Navarro, of Adrian.  Christine (Ray Tamminga) Navarro of Lansing, Michigan and Dana (Tom) Popejoy; sisters Wanda Brake of Ortonville, Michigan and Juanita Frasher of Goodrich Michigan, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved him greatly.  Chris also left behind many lifelong friends and special people he mentored throughout his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Christina, daughters Katherine and Katrina, brothers Joseph Cadwallader Jr. and Richard Cadwallader and sister Renee O’Berry. A private funeral and burial have taken place.  A public memorial service will be held at Madison Performing Arts Center, 3498 Treat Highway on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:30 p.m., with visitation from 1:30-2:30.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family
