Billy J. Terry

Billy J. Terry, age 84, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 20, 2015, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born May 30, 1930, in Marion Co., AL, the son of Otis & Flora (Lacey) Terry.  He married Edith Maelene Harkness in Alabama.  She preceded him in death in 1986.  Billy retired from Bohn Hyro Aluminum in Adrian.  He was a faithful member of Adrian Church of Christ.  Billy's passion in life was playing Bluegrass Music and his grandchildren.  He is survived by his children; Paula (Kenny) Kirkpatrick, Billie Jean (Wade) Wheeler, Scott (Jalair) Terry, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife Edith, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol Dawn Gittings and his brother, Charles "Bud" Terry.  A viewing will be held on Friday, April 24. 2015, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 to 8:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Private burial will take place Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian, MI.
