Bethel G. Spohr

Bethel G. Spohr, age 88, of Deerfield, passed away August 25, 2015.  Bethel was born January 26, 1927 in Ridgeway Township the daughter of Leo and Maude (Montry) Spohr.  Bethel worked 35 years at Stubnitz-Green Hoover Ball Bearing, Adrian before retiring in 1982.  She attended the  Deerfield Free Methodist Church.  Bethel is survived by a nephew,  D.L. (Kim) Spohr; nieces, Mary Beth Schaffer and Sheila Bork; step nephews, Audley Craig and Wilson Craig and step nieces, Connie Eggert, Peggy Bunce, and Judy Sanders.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Don Spohr.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M.  Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Deerfield Free Methodist Church with  Pastor Rick Jewett and Pastor Bob DeLoria  officiating.   Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 P. M. Friday, August 28, 2015 at the J, Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and one hour preceding the service at the church on Saturday.   Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com
