Zakkary Orion Mapes

Zakkary Orion Mapes, age 30, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 16, 2022.  He was born April 11, 1991, in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Richard & Cynthia (Lehman) Mapes. He was a graduate of Onsted High School, Class of 2010.  Zakkary is survived by his parents, Richard & Cynthia Mapes; his birth father, Jade Willingham; great grandmother, Doris Lehman of Indiana; brothers, Gerald (Stephanie) Creech, Nicholas Mapes, Justis Mapes, Taylor LaRoe and Jaden LaRoe of Oklahoma; two sisters, Rachel (Jake) Creech-Schultz an Jacinda (McKay) Seaton; three nieces, Avalynn, Allyana and Apple; four nephews, Hunter, Bryon, Mason and Isaiah; and his beloved dog, Oliver. He is also survived by his dear friends, Chelsea Gyuran, Jenny Francoeur and Carrie Francoeur; along with many other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Al & JoAnn Webster; his mother, Denise Willingham; his aunt Sherry; and her son, Joshua.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will be on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
