Virginia A. Gauna age 68, of Adrian, MI, passed away, January 14, 2021 She was born January 23, 1952, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Frank Gauna & Elena (Leon) Gomez.  Virginia is survived by her daughter, Anikka Young; her grandchildren, Paige Young, Jasmine Jones, Jalen Jones, AJ Markess, Sebastian Brenke-Young; great grandchildren, Jaiden Young, Ana-Lynn Stevens and Lilliana Young; her mother, Elena Gomez; her siblings, Ernest Louis (Donna) Gomez, Perry (Tammie) Gomez, Celia (Phil) Gomez-Garrison, Lydia Sharp, Eva Brown, Lori (Kiem) Hoang, Steve (Ann) Gomez, Jehu (Maria) Gomez Belinda Gauna and Frank (Wanda) Gauna; and numerous nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Gauna; stepfather, Ernesto Gomez; her son, Arthur Young Jr.; two sisters, Dinah Avila and Elizabeth Gonzalez and one brother, Daniel P. Gauna. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Bishop Robert Benard presiding. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at J.
