Victor “Vic” Coronado, age 73, of Tecumseh passed away February 17, 2021 at the University of Michigan Hospital with his sons at his side. He was born November 17, 1947 in Edinburg, Texas to Tomas Coronado and Evangelina (Perez) Nieto. Victor enjoyed playing baseball/softball, golfing, attending Detroit Tigers ballgames, going to the Casinos (ching ching), listening and dancing to his oldies music (Motown, 50’s/60’s music), traveling and everything Disney. He loved being with his family, especially for big cookouts in the summer and Holiday gatherings. Victor was a generous and selfless person, always giving and helping others and wanting to make sure everyone felt like they belonged. Victor was a hardworking man, employed for over 53 years between Ford Motor Company and Faurecia Auto Company in Saline, MI. He was the 9th most tenured employee at the time of his death. He is also a veteran of the United States Army, and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by two sons, Mario (Stephanie) Coronado and Victor Daniel (Jayne) Coronado, three grandchildren, Nicolas (Amanda) Coronado, Luis Coronado and Ariana Coronado, one great-grand-daughter Harvi Coronado and his sister Lupe Tonche. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, step-father Juan Nieto, his loving wife Patty Coronado, his brothers Ramiro Coronado and Ricardo Coronado and his sister Mary Vargas. Per his wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no formal funeral services. A private family burial will occur at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh on Saturday, February 27, 2021. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
