Tommie Lofton

Tommie Lofton, age 44, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 25, 2020 He was born October 5, 1975, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi the son of Eugene Russell & Fannie Mae Lofton.  He worked various jobs and enjoyed working lawn care and in the food industry. He enjoyed cooking with his daughter and fishing with his sons and spending time with his sisters & brothers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Russell and Fannie Mae Lofton, brothers, Larry Russell and Randall Russell, sisters, Gloria Putten, Earlean Brown, Joyce Shead, Ora-Lee Brown and Rose Lofton. Tommie is survived by his children, Tyler Nieto, Tevin Lofton, Cheyanne Lofton and Jake Newman, his brother, Lawyer Lofton, four sisters, Susie Lofton, Angela (Keith) VanZandt, Roxanne Lofton  and Ireather Lofton, and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.  A Viewing & Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2020, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Funeral Services will follow on Friday at 3:00 PM at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, MI, with Rev. Charles Stewart officiating.
