Thomas Matthew Leon

Thomas  Matthew  Leon, age 37, of Adrian, MI, passed away, May 22, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Sylvania Ebeid Center.  He was born October 20, 1988, in Tecumseh, MI the son of Richard Leon & Diane (Baty) Leon.  Thomas attended the LSID Porter Center School.  He always looked forward to participating in the Special Olympics.   Thomas was a resident of the Westhaven Home in Tecumseh for 16 years, before being transferred to Adrian Bay.  He is survived by his parents, Richard (Jennifer) Leon and Diane Leon; two siblings, Shawn Leon and Amanda (Adam) Mehan; maternal grandmother; Mabel Baty; two uncles, Rodney (Pam) Leon and Mark (Danielle) Leon; and one aunt, Connie Baty; two nephews, Elijah (Gabriele) Mehan and Isaac Mehan; and two nieces, Keeley Mehan and Abigail Leon.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jose Leon, Betty Leon and Leon Baty.  Memorial Services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, May 29, 2026, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Highway, Adrian, MI, with Rev. William VanValkenBurg officiating.  Visitation will also be on Friday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the LISD Porter Center or the Special Olympics.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
