Thomas Douglas Hardy

Thomas Douglas Hardy age 73, of Manitou Beach went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 21, 2022.

Thomas was born January 28, 1949 in Tecumseh, MI the son of Ralph and Edna (Tilden) Hardy.

Thomas lived in Lenawee County all his life. He graduated from Addison High School. After high school he served in the United States Army. After the service Thomas became a Machinist and worked at Hardy Reed Tool & Die until retiring in 2019. 

He was a member of Tecumseh Assembly of God and served as a usher and helped in the ministry.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 12 years, Madonna (Daivs) Hardy; children, Christina Walters, Pamula Hardy, Michael (Ruth) Hardy and Melissa Hershey; grandchildren, Johnathon Walters II, Gaby Hardy, Ethan Walters, Jakob Hardy, Rachel Hardy, Zoe Gerlach, William Hershey, Allen Hershey and Walter Hershey; sisters: Ellen Miller and Mary (Steve) Bowman; sister-in-laws, Dot (Randy) Stoddard and Roberta Davis; brother-in-laws, Tom Davis, Don (Jeanne) Davis and Marc Davis.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 36 years, Martha (Hawes) Hardy; parents, Ralph and Edna Hardy; sister, Patricia (Roger) June and brother-in-law, Norm Miller.

A celebration of life for Thomas will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 1:00 P.M.  at Tecumseh Assembly of God Church, 1080 E. Chicago Blvd, Tecumseh, MI 49286. A luncheon will follow the service.
