Thomas James Cook

Thomas James Cook, age 60, passed away on June 25th 2026. He was born November 19, 1965 in Lansing, MI by Rosemary Remus and Roger Cook. He graduated high school from Charlotte High School in 1983. Worked many jobs namely for a time as a surveyor on work sites throughout mid-Michigan.  Tom enjoyed fishing and hunting, Ted Nugent, The Red Green Show and talking about animals endlessly. For a time family camping trips were frequent and extensive like that of Manitou Island and the "trail of tears". He gave his children many colorful stories to share throughout the years.  Tom is survived by his uncle Richard, uncle Wesley, aunt Susan, his sister Jody, 4 children Rose, Robert, Garland, Dacey and one grandchild Elias.  A memorial will be scheduled in the coming months.  Arrangements with Purse Funeral Home.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
