Tate Williams Obituary

Tate Michael Williams age 53, of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away peacefully on December 24, 2021 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Tate was born May 1, 1968 to John and Marjorie (McNicholas) Williams, in Garden City, Michigan. Tate enjoyed amateur woodworking and doing home improvement jobs for his friends and family. He was a former instructor at the American Red Cross, and was a Co-Founder of a Mission helping the homeless community in the Ann Arbor area. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Williams; Brothers, Daniel (LeeAnne Thode) Suttkus, Michael Andrew (Elektra Petrucci) Williams and a Sister, Sarah (Mike Jeffries) Keywell, his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many great friends including Brian Durrance. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Robert and Louise McNicholas, and Edward and Gloria Williams. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
