Tammy Sue McKinney

Tammy Sue McKinney, age 48, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 28, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born September 13, 1976, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Jimmie McKinney and Margaret McKinney. Tammy was a graduate of Adrian Public Schools. She was the general manager of Burger King for 21 years. Tammy loved to travel and try different foods. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved to bake Christmas sweets. Tammy was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly.  Tammy is survived by her mother, Margaret McKinney; two grandmothers, Dorothy Barrett and Juana Ybarra; her children, Chelsea McKinney, Breanna (Aaron Kingsley) Gutierrez, Johnny (Hayley) Uribe, Kyle McCarley and Kaleb (Amanda Restorick) McCarley; six grandchildren, Kianna, Zaeden, Camden, Kaylea, Trenton and Aarien; two sister; Teresa (Ricardo) Perez and Amanda (Josh) McKinney; her beloved partner, Chris Justice; her best friend, Cory McCarley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie McKinney.  Viewing & Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at J.
