Steven John Garcia, Sr.

Steven John Garcia, Sr., age 51, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 3, 2023, at ProMedica Hickman Hospital. He was born June 30, 1972, in Houston, TX, the son of Daniel Jr. & Maria (Rodriguez) Garcia. He was a graduate of Britton High School.  Steven was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing, making music and hanging out with friends.  He is survived by his wife, Rozie Cooper; his children, Austin (Jadden) Garcia, Bryan (Bianca) Cooper, Elijah Garcia, Steven Garcia Jr., Siaunna (Kaidyn) Stevens and Xavier Garcia; granddaughter, Kinsleigh Garcia; his mother, Maria Garcia; one brother, Michael (Wendy) Garcia; three sisters, Debbie (Scott) Gosselin, Margaret (Joe) Rodriguez and Michelle (Patrick) Deniston; and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Daniel Garcia Jr.; one brother, Ronnie Rodriguez; and his grandparents.  Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Claude Bevier officiating. Viewing & Visitation will also be on Friday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at J.
