Shirley Jean (Patrick) Justick, age 79 of Adrian MI,a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at her home on April 23, 2026. She was born on July 3, 1946, in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of Jack and Goldie (Barnett) Patrick. Shirley was known for her love of all animals and the deep love she had for her family. She found joy in the simple things—she loved doing yard work and had a green thumb, enjoyed sharing stories, and loved camping with friends and family. She lived a very adventurous life and was known as a devoted animal lover, always caring for her dogs and feeding stray animals. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the love of her life, and it showed in everything she did. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert “Big Al” Justick of Adrian, Michigan; her three daughters, Jackie Patrick of Tecumseh, Michigan, Kim (Steven) Sexton of Hudson, Michigan, and Tammy (Jamie) Drouillard of Tecumseh, Michigan; her brothers, Luther Patrick of Clawson, Michigan, and Robert (Julie) Patrick of Indiana; her sister, Margaret “Kay” (Jerry) Proffitt of Adrian, Michigan; and a special sister-in-law, Jane Patrick. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jack Creger Jr.; her late husband, Tom Allen Sr.; and her siblings, Roger, Charles, Arthur, Marvin, Richard, Jack Jr., Louis, Lois, Ona Machino, and Ann Gehring. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shirley’s love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her late son-in-law, Jeff Gibbs. A celebration of life dinner will follow at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2570 Beecher Road, Adrian, Michigan.
