Sheila Dawn Johnson

Sheila Dawn Johnson, age 68, of Adrian, MI, passed away, July 20, 2025, at The Toledo Hospital.  She was born June 7, 1957, in Stockbridge, MI, the daughter of Bennie & Mollie (Shouse) Fletcher.  On May 7, 2000, she married Dwight Johnson in Clayton, MI, he survives.  Sheila worked for General Motors for over 22 years, retiring in 1998.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.  In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and was the captain of her softball team.  In addition to her husband Dwight, she is survived by her step children, Trena (Dave) Harvey, Tisha (Eric) Smith and Brandon (Melanie) Johnson; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Kerr and Sharlene Wilson; and many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie & Mollie Fletcher;  four brothers, Bennie Jr, Jerry, James and Gary Fletcher and two sisters Jan Jurkan and Emogene Poe; and one niece, Michelle Fletcher.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Friday July 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
