Shayna Marie Staup

Shayna Marie Staup, age 43, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 30, 2022.  She was born April 12, 1978, the daughter of Fredrick Warren & Terri Lynn (Johnson) Staup, they both survive.  Shayna was a 1996 graduate of Onsted High School and earned her Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University. Shayna had a passion for helping people and went on to pursue a career in healthcare. She was a dedicated and loving caregiver at Christ Centered Homes.  In addition to her parents, Shayna is survived by her son, Kaden Warren Staup; one sister, Jennifer Lynn (Kevin) Sweeney; one brother, Jeffrey Frederick Staup; two nieces, Jennsyn & Jillian Sweeney; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John & Norma Johnson and Warren & Dorothy Staup.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Tyson Bentz officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Adrian, MI.
