Sharon Colleen VanCoppenolle

Sharon Colleen VanCoppenolle, age 85, of Adrian, MI, passed away, March 15, 2021, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee. She was born September 7, 1935, in Jackson, MI, to Frank & Auldene (Cone) Tracy. Sharon was a member St. Joseph's Catholic Church, She was a 1952 graduate of Adrian High School at the age of 16. She retired in 1998 from Bixby Hospital after many years working as a ward clerk. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, trips to the family cabin in Northern Michigan and and occasional visit to the casino.  She married George "Joe" VanCoppenolle on November 26, 1955 in Assupmtion, OH. She is survived by one son, George VanCoppenolle II of Adrian and one daughter, Kathy Berridge of Adrian, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, George "Joe" VanCoppenolle, one daughter, Kim VanCoppenolle; two grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Sebring; and two brothers, Frank Tracy and Tom Tracy. She was also preceded in death by two cousins, whom she was raised with, Beverly Russell and Joe Tryon.  A private burial will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to J.
