Scott "Scotty" Allen Shaw

Scott "Scotty" Allen Shaw, age 61, of Tipton, MI, passed away, December 3, 2024, in Adrian, MI.  He was born November 1, 1963, at Herrick Hospital in Tecumseh, MI, the son of Dale Shaw & Sharon (Luck) Kuramoto.  He was a graduate of Adrian High School in 1988.  Scott worked as a professional drywaller for almost 40 years, recently retiring from the painters union.  He enjoyed his family, friends, riding his motorcycle, the outdoors and his passion for The Lord.  Scotty is survived by his children's mother, Mary Dixon; three daughters, Lana Anderson, Sara Anderson and Moriah (Randy) Shaw-Brayman; one son, Micah Shaw; twelve grandchildren, many close nieces & nephews; sisters, Carrie Shaw, Pamela Shaw and Paula Pratt; and his mother; Sharon (Luck) Kuramoto.  He was preceded in death by one daughter, Farica Anderson-Bertram; his father, Dale Shaw; and step-father, Don Kuramoto.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI, with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating.  Viewing & Visitation will on Monday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.
