Scott Charles McCarthy

Scott Charles McCarthy, age 59, of Lansing, MI, passed away, January 3, 2023, at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital.  He was born April 17, 1963, in Adrian, MI.  Scott's hobbies included riding motorcycles and he loved cars and semi trucks.  He is survived by his sons, Brandon McCarthy and Lucas McCarthy-Grey; his daughters, Kristine (Josh) Dombrowski and Autumn McCarthy-Grey; his mother Patricia "Patty" Shearer; brother, William (Lori) McCarthy; and grandchildren, Noah Dombrowski, Adriana Dombrowski, Gavin Dombrowski, Edward Kozlowski,  Aiden McCarthy, Adrian McCarthy, Alexia McCarthy and Carter McCarthy.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence "Lenny" McCarthy; and step-father, Alex Shearer.  Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, January 6, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Visitation will also be on Friday from 3:00 PM until the time of service at J.
