Sandra Kaye (Ruttkofsky) Smith

Sandra Kaye (Ruttkofsky) Smith age 77, of Onsted passed away January 3, 2021 She was born March 10, I943 in Dearborn, Ml the daughter of John and Inez (Bourns) Ruttkofsky. Sandra was a graduate of Tecumseh High School. She was employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Paul Byrne, OB/GYN. Adrian. Sandra was a lifelong member of SI. Mark's Lutheran Church, Brooklyn, where she was involved with the Youth Group and Women's Guild. Sandra is survived by her children, Lisa (Greg) Tripp of Augusta, GA, Kelly (David) Valdez of Onsted, Traci (Matthew) McIntyre of Jackson, and Matthew (Katie) Smith of Hudson; grandchildren, Gregory Tripp, Jr., Brandon (Courtney) Tripp, Joshua (Gena) Tripp, Chelsea (Jacob) Harding, Lauren Wingard. Skylar Wingard. Jacob McIntyre, Devin McIntyre, and Emma McIntyre, Connor Smith, Cole Smith, and Luke Smith; great grandchildren; Gregory Tripp III , Makenzie Tripp,  Rowen Tripp, Grayson Tripp, Kendal Tripp, Mason Tripp, Madison Tripp, Braden Tripp, Lilly Tripp, Peyton Harding, and Oaklie Harding; mother, Inez Dowling; 8 brothers and sisters, and their spouses, Gerald, Judy, Clara, William, Joann, John, Joy, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her father John, granddaughter, Amanda Kaye Tripp, and great granddaughter, Madelyn Kaye Tripp. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Brooklyn, with Deacon Ray Rosencrants officiating. Interment will follow at Tipton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh and also one hour prior to funeral service at the church on Friday.
