Sally J. Mead

Sally J. Mead, age 68, of Morenci, MI, passed away on Saturday, June 12, at the Hospice of Lenawee Home with her sisters by her side.  She was born October 4, 1952 in Adrian, MI, to Harvey and Jeannette (Scott) Mead.  Sally graduated from Sand Creek in 1970, and the School of Cosmetology the same year.  She drove for Dial-A-Ride in Adrian for many years.  She had a big heart and personality, and would do anything for anyone.  She was a foster parent for many years.  Sally is survived by her sisters, Carol (Robert) Bailey of Onsted and Tracy Salazar of Blissfield; niece and nephew, Shelby and Jerrett Cadwell; great nieces & nephews, Kayleigh Cadwell, Bree Ana Torres, Kalvyn Reinke, and DeShawn Dillard.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, stepfather, and friend Gene Timberman. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Fairfield Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating.  A luncheon will follow at Jasper Bible Church, 8230 S Adrian Hwy, Jasper, MI 49248   Donations may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
