Sally Lynn Lauer

Sally Lynn Lauer, age 78, of Tecumseh passed away  January 17, 2020, at Brightside Assisted Living  & Memory Care in Jackson, Michigan.  Sally was born November 29, 1941 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Jack and Ellen (Reynolds) Jentzen.  On February 14, 2000 she married Charles Lauer and he survives.  Sally was a faithful member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh. In addition to her husband, Sally is survived by her daughters, Robin (Rich) Wegener of Lindsay,  Nebraska  and Tammy Bonner of Hanover, Michigan; grandchildren, Chisum Volk, Adam Bonner, Wyatt Wegener and MarryRita Wegener; sister, Patricia (Dale) Heselschwerdt; three nieces and two nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Jentzen.  A Mass of the Christian burial will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh with Rev. Fr. Daniel Wheeler as celebrant.  Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be 4:00 -8:00 P. M.  Thursday, January 23, 2020 with a Scripture Service at 7:00 P. M at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home.  Visitation will also be at 10:00 A. M. Friday at the church, prior to  the mass.  Memorials in her memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice.  Condolences to the family may be made online at www.pursefuneralhome.com.
