Ruth "Ruthie" Taylor

Ruth  "Ruthie"  Taylor, age 80, of Weston, MI, passed away, July 18, 2025, at Hospice of Lenawee Hospice Home surrounded by her family.  She was born April 29, 1945, in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Claude & Wanda (Garwood) Fisher.  Ruth loved playing pool as was inducted into the VNEA Hall of Fame in 2016.  She enjoyed going to the racetracks, going camping and going to the casinos.  She is survived by her children, Ronald (Vicki) Stetten of Fayetteville, TN, Robin Gerhart (Don Crawford) of Adrian, Richard (Deana) Stetten of Fairfield, Jennifer (Lucky) Stoddard of Weston and Jamie (David) Pickering of Adrian; sixteen grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Samantha, Thomas, Stephanie, Courtney, Lucky, Devin, Gage, Brittany, Matthew, Amber, Macie, Austin, Luis and Rochelle; numerous great grandchildren; four brothers, Donald (Diane) Fisher, Claude (Joanne) Fisher, Johnny Fisher and Dale (Cindy) Fisher; one sister, Wendy Luttrell; special nephew, Jerry Fisher; along with many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Wanda Fisher; two sisters, Wanda Heroy and Lois Fisher; three brothers, Tim Fisher and two in infancy; and brother in law, Brice Luttrell.  Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, July 28, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery.  Viewing & Visitation will be on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian, MI.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
