Russell "Rusty" Garza

Russell "Rusty" Garza, age 55, of Adrian, MI, passed away September 29, 2021 at University of Michigan Hospital.  He is survived by his mother, Josie Alvarado; his children, Alex Garza, Stevie Garza, Braxton Garza and Jersi Garza; four grandchildren; one brother; Michael (Dyana) Garza, beloved companion, Tammy Cantu & her daughter, Anessa; nephew, Nicholas (Tayler) Garza; niece, Mandy Rodela; former wife & friend, Janee Garza; along with numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Garza & stepmother, Robbin Garza; sister, Monica Rodela; and stepfather, Benjamin Alvarado. Memorial Services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI with Pastor Steve Samonek officiating. Visitation will also be on Friday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at J.
