Robert Harley Rule

Robert Harley Rule, age 78, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 3, 2020, at the Oasis in Adrian.  He was born June 21, 1941, in Adrian, MI, the son of Harley M. & Viola (Stock) Rule, they preceded him in death.  Robert served his country in the U.S. Air Force from July 7, 1960 until April 17, 1963.  He was retired from Brazeway of Adrian.  Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Fairfield, MI.  He liked fishing.  Robert is survived by his two sons, Tim (Lucy) Rule and Todd (Shelly) Rule, six grandchildren, Hope Rule, Hollie Rule, Draven Moralli, Jon Holland, Shanin Ordonez and Kyle Holland, four great grandchildren, his sister, Patricia Holbrook and several nieces nephew & cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie A. (Ferguson) Rule and a sister at birth.  Visitation will be on Tuesday April 7, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and will be limited in accordance with the CDC recommendations & the State of Michigan Executive order at the J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI.  Funeral services will be streamed live 11:00 AM Wednesday April 8, 2020 on the funeral home's Facebook Page: (LIVE STREAM LINK)  with Pastor Tommy Briggs officiating.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.  www.PurseFuneralHome.com
