Robert Eugene Coffey

Robert Eugene Coffey, age 78, Deerfield, MI, passed away, August 5, 2023, at home with his family. He was born September 27, 1944, in Louisa, KY, the son of Walden & Edith (Ball) Coffey. On June 9, 1979, he married Sharon Coffey, she survives.  Robert was a thirty-eight year employee at the Ford Motor Co., Saline Plant, where he retired as the Union Representative for UAW Local 892. He was a member and past president of the Clinton Masonic Lodge. He was an avid NASCAR fan and attended the races at MIS Speedway for over forty years. His hobbies included, fishing, gardening, camping and spending time with his family.  In addition to his wife Sharon, he is survived by his children, Michael Coffey, Carrie Green, James (Rachel) Coffey, Tonya (Robert) Perez and Tammy (Steve) Null; grandchildren, Chris Green, Robert Green, Tania (Adam) Roehm, Rashel Null, Bailey Null, Brandi Null, Jesse Null, Jessica Lietz, Kara Rodman and Jamie Coffey; great grandchildren, Jessalyn, Kaydence, Jadden, Riley, Aiden, Ella, Mason, Noah, Rowan, Audrey, McKenna and Delilah; his siblings, Linda (Bill) Layne, Paul (Sandy) Coffey and J.E. (Terri) Coffey; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Cline; and great niece, Natasha Marcum.  Viewing and Visitation will be on Monday August 7, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Tuesday August 8, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Masonic Service to follow at J.
