Robert Leroy Bucklew, 70, of Monroe, passed away January 10, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan due to natural causes. Robert was born in Adrian, MI to Leroy and Lillian (Snyder/Ostrander) Bucklew on March 15th, 1950. He went to high school at Adrian High School and received his diploma in 1979. After high school, he went into the military later being honorably discharged. He enjoyed spending time with his family and racing RC cars. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Lillian (Ken Ostrander), brother-in-law Ken Carter, and nephew Steven Carter. Robert is survived by his son’s Rob Bucklew, Morenci, MI, William (Amanda) Bucklew, Monroe MI, Ben (Breanna) Bucklew, Archbold OH, brothers; Roger Bucklew of Monroe, MI, Ric Bucklew (Jody) of Brown City, MI, sister Carol Ostrander Carter of Coldwater, MI; grandchildren; Cassandra, Seth, RJ, Delaney, Daphne, Danyel, Alaina, Benny, Blair, great-grandchildren; Clarissa, Izabella, and Izaiah plus many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19, memorial services will be announced at a later date.
