Rick Kenneth McCombs

Rick Kenneth McCombs, 71, of Garden City, Michigan, passed away on September 17th, 2024 at Harper Hospital in Detroit, MI.  Rick McCombs was born in Highland Park, Michigan, to Donna and Kenneth McCombs on August 21, 1953. He graduated from Garden City West High School in 1972 before beginning a career with General Motors, where he retired after 30 years of service. Rick moved to Arizona to enjoy the dry air and his love of riding his motorcycle along Route 66. In recent years, he returned to Michigan to be closer to his family.  Rick is survived by his loving partner, Sue; his daughter, Dana; his son, Jason; his mother, Donna; his sister, Debbie; and his brother, Michael. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marsha; his brother, Marc; and his father, Kenneth.  A memorial service will be held at his son Jason's home in Hazel Park, MI, on September 28, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.   All are welcome to join us in celebrating Rick’s life.
