Richard Williams Densel, Jr

Richard William Densel, Jr age 74, passed away peacefully at home August 4, 2022, under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Lenawee. Richard was born February 5, 1948, in Adrian, Michigan the son of Richard and Kathryn M. (Schlecht) Densel. On June 29, 1968 in Adrian, MI he married the love of his life, Karen E. Gier, and she survives.

Richard is a graduate of Adrian High School Class of 1966.  After high school Richard worked for Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 1998.

Richard was a loving father and husband, a dedicated worker, and a friend others could count on. He had numerous hobbies and music was a joy and passion. A true audiophile, he listened to music constantly, with rock and roll, folk, and the blues on heavy rotation.

Richard is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Dawn (Tony) Johnson; son, Richard (Alicia) Densel, III; grandchildren, Kyle, Kevin, Richie, Michael and Maija; sister, Judy (Rex) Jordan and sister-in-law, Marcia Cryder.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Kathryn Densel.

Per Richard's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time.
