Rebecca Jean Church

Rebecca Jean Church, left this world and returned to the loving arms of Her Lord on September 24, 2019.  She will leave those who love her missing her lovely smile and beautiful laugh.  She lived her life helping people and made a tremendous difference in the lives of those she touched.  She was generous and kind hearted, she loved to bowl, play cards and socialize.  She will be missed dearly.  Rebecca was a photographer and owner of Jean Christopher Portraits along with her brother Jack.  She attended Somerset Beach Free Methodist Church in Somerset, MI.  Rebecca is survived by her children, Autumn D. Powelke (Tom), Amber C. Saint Johns (Glen) and Cole A.B. Church, grandchildren; Hobbs, Seth, Zain and Meyer, great grandgaughter; Lily, siblings; Tim Palms (Barb), Jack Palms and Michelle Palms-Rogers (Shawn) and many beloved nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven Gorczyca & Ruth (Hayward) Palms, siblings, Sheryl Davis and Gary Palms and former husband, Melvyn J. Church.  Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, September 28, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N.
