Randall Dotson

Randall Dotson age 73, of Tecumseh passed away at home on April 8, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born July 23, 1948,  in Ivyton, Kentucky the son of Alfred and Cyna Mae (Stanley) Dotson.  In 1976,  he married Twila Brown in Tecumseh and  she survives. After he graduated High School he was drafted and went into the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. Randall worked for 36 years for Ford Motor Company in Saline. He was a member of the Tecumseh VFW, played on the softball and pool leagues for Embers and Wrong Way Pub. Randall is survived by his partner, Twila; children, Brenda (Jen) Henry, Tammy (Steve) Atkinson, Roger (Jessica) Lape, Ricky (Shelly) Lape and James Alfred Dotson; Grandchildren, Grace, Elli, Chena, Geoffrey, Craig, Chris, Robert, Dylan, Cory, Katie, Alexander and Eliana; siblings, Hilda Winzeler and Russell (Pin) Dotson and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Cyna Mae Dotson; siblings, Dotty (Roger) Palmer, Rose (Jemal) Touba and Delmas (Linda) Dotson. Funeral services will be  11:00 A. M.  Wednesday, April 13, 2022  at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Eric Hickman officiating.  Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Cemetery, Tecumseh.  Visitation will be  4:00 - 7:00 P. M. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to U of M Cancer Research in honor of Randall.
