Ralph James McClain

Ralph James McClain, age 66, of Adrian, MI, passed away, September 11, 2023, at Toledo Hospital. He was born June 10, 1957, in Hudson, MI, the son of Robert & Stella (Goodson) McClain.  Ralph was a graduate of Hudson High School. He worked at Country Market for over 30 years. He then went onto work at Wal-Mart where he retired in 2020. Ralph was affectionately known as "Mr. Bean" by his co- workers.  He is survived by his siblings, Jack (Lynn) McClain, Floyd (Linda) McClain, Jerry McClain, Gary McClain, Rick McClain, Keith (Rhonda) McClain, Paul (Karen) McClain, Shirley McClain of Clinton and Sally (Jim) Gifford of Adrian; numerous nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Stella (Goodson) McClain; and one niece, Melanie McLain.  Memorial Services will be held 5:00 PM Friday October 6, 2023, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of service at J.
