Phillip M. Owen

Phillip M. Owen, age 69, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully June 14, 2020 at home, surrounded by his family.  He was born May 27, 1951, in Lewisburg, TN, the son of Martha Ann Owen. On April 7, 1979, he married Anita A. Jackson. She survives. Phillip had a passion for family and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Phillip was also recently employed with Gonzalez Group, Oak Park, MI. He was loved by all and will be sadly missed. In addition to his wife Anita, he is survived by, daughter, Amy Hayes; two sons, Phillip M. (Julie) Owen, Jr. and Daniel Owen; 5 grandchildren, Kiera Hall, Cody Straits, Jordan Owen, Trevor Owen, and Kaylee Owen; sister, Debbie (Phil) Rogers and 4 brothers, Steve (Ebra) Owen, James (Helen) Owen, Troy Wells and Tracy Wells. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Owen and sister, Melissa Owen. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Phil Rogers officiating. Visitation will also take place on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services.
