Peter Takis Keriacos

Peter Takis Keriacos, age 91, of Tecumseh, formerly of Redford and Lansing,  passed away April 30, 2019. Peter was born April 5, 1928 in Athens, Greece the son of Paul and Valuria Keriacos. On January 12, 1964 he married Eva Curley and she preceded him in death. While attending Michigan State University he was a member of Army ROTC and was commissioned a First Lieutenant in the United States Army where he served during the Korean War. Aside from owning the Starfire Restaurant in Lansing he managed several restaurants and hotels until his retirement. Peter is survived by his son, Mark Paul (Susan) Keriacos and grandsons Joseph and Robert Anthony Keriacos In addition to his wife, Eva, he was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Tessie Keriacos. Funeral services will be  11:30 A. M. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Fr. Nicolas  H. Kotsis as celebrant.  Visitation will be 10:00 A. M.  to 11:30 A. M. preceding the service.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton with  military honors performed by the United States Army Honor Guard Team.
